As patients approach surgery, they often need information regarding the financial “side” of things. They may need information about the various payment options that are available and may have questions about whether their insurance benefits will help pay for the procedure. We hope the following information will be helpful to you:
All procedures offered at Dr. Robert Bowen’s office are cosmetic in nature (not medically necessary) and therefore they are NOT covered by health insurance benefits.
A $1000 deposit is required to reserve a place on our surgery schedule. The deposit is collected when you schedule your surgery. You must complete a Consultation with Dr. Bowen to discuss the procedure before you schedule surgery.
We understand that a situation may arise that could force you to postpone your surgery. Please understand that once we have reserved a place for you on our surgery schedule, such changes impact not only the schedule of the surgical team, but other patients as well. Dr. Bowen’s time, and the time of the surgical and nursing staff assisting him, are a precious commodity and we request your courtesy and concern.
- Your $1000 deposit is forfeited if you cancel your surgery without rescheduling your procedure within the following 3 months of your original surgical date (medical exceptions only).
- If you request to reschedule less than 14 days before your surgery date, there will be an additional rescheduling fee of $1000 that must be paid before we can reschedule your surgery.
The balance of the total fee for your procedure is due in full at the time of your PreSurgical Visit.
We provide a number of payments options, which may be used individually or in combination, as suits your needs.
CASH or CHECK: Personal Check, Cashier’s Check or Cash. (A $35 fee applies to returned checks, in addition to any bank fees we incur.)
CREDIT CARD: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express
Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have about our Financial Policy. We are here to assist you!
